Biology/ IPC

I graduated High School from San Angelo Central High School in 1997. After a long stint of working in the business world, I graduated from Tarleton State University in May 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Studies with an additional teaching field in Life Science. I graduated with honors and was chosen as the 2007 Outstanding Achievement Graduate for the College of Education.
This will be my third year at Groesbeck ISD, eighth year teaching, and I am thrilled to be a part of such an exceptional campus.
Before I came to Groesbeck I worked for one year at Burleson Centennial High School where I taught Chemistry and coached volleyball and softball. My first teaching job was at Bosqueville ISD where I stayed for four years. I taught 7th grade & 8th grade Science, Biology, and Ananatomy & Physiology. I also coached Jr. High and High School volleyball, basketball, track, cross country, and softball.
I was raised in San Angelo, TX. I am the baby of 9 children, eight girls and 1 boy. My parents have been married for 58 years. I now have 29 nieces and nephews and 33 great- nieces and nephews. My family is very close knit, and holidays are more like a block party. I have a 2 year old daughter Avery and custody of my nephew Mason who is 11. Avery attends daycare in Waco and Mason attends Robinson Junior High this year.
I love all sports, but soccer and softball are my favorite. I love being outdoors camping, biking, hiking, fishing, and being out on my boat, and most of all spending time with my family.
