I taught Biology and Marine Science for 7 years after graduation from college.  I then took off for several years to raise my children.  On returning to the classroom, I taught 6th grade for one year, 8th grade for 2 years, then I became a Science Specialist for Garland Independent School District.  Since moving to Groesbeck, I have taught Science TAKS classes, Chemistry, Biology, and now IPC.

I married the love of my life after graduating from Texas A & M University.  Together we have 5 children, and 2 granddaughters.  Our eldest daughter, Kristen,  graduated from Plano Sr. High School and graduated from Navarro College.  Our second daughter, Megan, is a graduate of Groesbeck HS, and West Texas A & M University.  She is currently an athletic trainer at Hillsboro HS, and a graduate student at Baylor University.  Our next child, Marc graduated from Groesbeck HS, and West Texas A & M University where he played football.  He is currently a Deputy with the Limestone County Sheriffs Office.  Our fourth child, Kevin is a graduate of Groesbeck HS, and is currently attending University of Mary Hardin Baylor where he is a student coach for the Men's basketball team.  Our youngest, Lauren Kate, is also a graduate of GHS and is attending University of Mary Hardin Baylor and is studying Business Computer Information Systems.  Our granddaughters are precious, and a true joy at  6 and 2 years old.  They are BUSY enjoying life!
