Teen Leadership Syllabus

Welcome to Teen Leadership! This class will be different than any other class you will take. 

Through Teen Leadership you will:

• Develop a healthy self-concept, healthy relationships, and a sense of personal responsibility
• Understand Emotional Intelligence and the skills it measures, including self-awareness, self-control, self-motivation, and social skills
• Build skills in public speaking and communication as well as an understanding of personal image
• develop an understanding of principle-based decision-making and learn to make responsible personal and financial decisions
• Recognize and resist peer pressure
• Learn to become better family members and citizens
• appreciate the need for vision in goal-setting,personally and professionally

This course has been developed by the M.B. (Flip) Flippen group and is being taught around the world in both education and business groups.

Assignments and grading

Class participation        50%

Speeches            25%

Journal            25%

If a class is missed for any reason students are responsible for making up journal assignment.

Students will get 1 free pass to restroom per 6 weeks. (common sense will be applied ie. medical issues, illness etc. )
