Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Scholarship Opportunities & Information

Details about all the scholarships possible through the HLSR organization!!!

Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Area Go-Texan Scholarship

This is a $20,000 (approximate) scholarship that will be awarded to one student in Limestone County.  Applicants DO NOT have to be involved with FFA, 4-H, or showing of livestock!  ANY student who meets with minimum ACT or SAT test score and GPA/Rank is eligible to apply!!!  Get started TODAY!!!  Applciation must be submiitted online!!!

PART I: Application will go off at 7:59 PM on the deadline date (All applications must be submitted online by Monday, February 6, 2017). NO EXCEPTIONS TO BE MADE REGARDING THE DEADLINE.

PART II: Students must also complete Part II – Supplemental Forms, which are downloaded and emailed after submission. Supplemental Forms must be received by the HLSR Educational Programs office by Thursday, February 16, 2017.

Technical Scholarship Online Application - Part I (of II)

This application pertains only to students who are entered in the Tractor Tech Competition or Agricultural Mechanics Project Show at the 2017 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

NCAA Clearinghouse for College Bound Student-Athletes

Make sure once you submit your application that you request to have a high school transcript sent to the NCAA Clearinghouse.  You can do this on the Transcript Request form (on green paper) that is located outside Mrs. Stone and Mrs. Swick's offices.
